This checklist is designed for you to use at the time of battery installation, before leaving the site. It helps set customers up for SmartShift, lowers the chance of post-install support issues, and speeds up referral payouts.

Account & Access

- If enrolled, advise customer to contact previous provider
- Send them this unenrolment email template
- [ ] Ensure customer knows their Alpha Cloud login and password
Customer Reminder (if joining Amber)
- [ ] During registration they need to:
- Enter the correct serial (starts with AL) and check code in the registration form.
- if they have multiple AlphaESS batteries, they will need to onboard their batteries separately
- This is often entered incorrectly and will block onboarding.
- [ ] Inform the customer about solar curtailment limits:
- DC-coupled: Eligible for solar curtailment
- AC-coupled: Not eligible
