We are currently running a closed Alpha program for very early testing of Amber for EVs (A4EV). If you haven’t received an email about joining the Alpha program just yet, sit tight and wait for that email. If you’ve landed on this page after an invitation from us to join the program, keep reading!

The Amber for EVs (A4EV) alpha program requires two steps before you can enrol yourself via the Amber Electric Next app:

1. Install the Amber Electric Next app
2. Amber developer team enables the A4EV feature within the app

What is the Amber Electric Next app?

The instructions vary depending on whether you are an iPhone or Android user.

2. Amber developer team enables the A4EV feature

This is performed by the A4EVs development team. Once we have confirmed that you’ve installed the Amber Electric Next app we’ll enable the A4EV feature and send a notification to your phone to let you know. If you tap the notification it will open the Amber Electric Next app for you.

You’ll be able to see the A4EV option on the settings screen in the Amber Electric Next app.

<aside> ⚠️ Note that you will NOT be able to access the feature on the regular Amber Electric app publicly available on the Apple App Store / Google Play Store. This is an intentional limitation while we are busy alpha testing new features.
